Dr Anane Agyei is a transnational scholar, historian, writer and cultural communication and development consultant. He holds a PhD in African Studies from the University of Ghana, where his research examined cultural continuities and change among the Aduana people of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. As Executive Director of BIRDD, he leads research, publication, civic education and heritage initiatives focused on governance, political leadership, African history, cultural identity, democratic citizenship and sustainable national development
